I've found that the best way to deal with the trials of life is to simply put your trust in Allah. No matter how bad it gets to have the mindset that "Allah wants what's best for me so I should just be patient and persevere because he will take care of me." But having this mindset is easier said than done. Barakallahu feeki, this was a beneficial reminder. I’ve found that the best way to deal with the trials of life is to simply put your trust in Allah. It is a great reminder that we should be happy with what we have and remember that in times of hardships and when things don't go our way, we just say "QadrAllah wa masha fa'al". That's a great example of Ayub (peace be upon him) life. Another great example is that of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). Look at the endless trials and tribulations he went through throughout his life and the immense patience he had. The following hadith is only a speck of the hardships he (peace be upon him) faced and still his faith did not falter. `Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) reported: I asked the Prophet (peace be upon him), "Have you ever experienced a day harder than the day of the battle of Uhud?'' He (peace be upon him) replied, "Indeed, I experienced dangers at the hands of your people (the disbelievers from amongst the Quraish tribe). The hardest treatment I met from them was on the Day of `Aqabah when I went to Ibn `Abd Yalil bin `Abd Kulal (who was one of the chiefs of Ta'if) with the purpose of inviting him to Islam, but he made no response (to my call). So I departed with deep distress. I did not recover until I arrived at Qarn ath-Tha`alib. There, I raised my head and saw a cloud which had cast its shadow on me. I saw in it Jibril (Gabriel) (peace be upon him) who called me and said, "Indeed, Allah, the Exalted, heard what your people said to you and the response they made to you. And He has sent you the angel in charge of the mountains to order him to do to them what you wish." Then the angel of the mountains called me, greeted me and said, "O Muhammad, Allah listened to what your people had said to you. I am the angel of the mountains, and my Lord has sent me to you so that you may give me your orders. If you wish I will bring together the two mountains that stand opposite to each other at the extremities of Makkah to crush them in between.'' But the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said, "I rather hope that Allah will raise from among their descendants people who will worship Allah, and will not ascribe partners to Him in worship.'' [Al-Bukhari and Muslim]. SubhaanAllah. Ameen and wa iyaka.

A lot of thought was put into this and it paid off, it serves as a beneficial reminder to us all. Furthermore, as talha mentioned how, No harm is afflicted onto a Muslim except that they have sins removed from them, we can sort of begin to appreciate what it is Allah provides us with. I mean, in good he gives you good. And in bad, he still gives you good (having your sins removed). SubhanAllah! This topic reminds me of the story of Ayub (alayhi salam) and the struggles he went through to hold in his belief and faith in Allah, as it says in the Quran: "And Job, when he cried unto his Lord, (saying): Lo! Adversity afflicteth me, and Thou art Most Merciful of all who show mercy." 21:83. (I was lazy and Wiki'd it lol, inshAllah it is fine) SubhanAllah, after several years of suffering and being put through trials that possibly very few, if not none, of us can even remotely relate to, he still held steadfast in his faith in Allah. Truly his is a life we can appreciate and learn from inshAllah, and may Allah make us of those who are grateful and loving of Allah and all that he bestows upon us. Ameen. MashAllah, and JazakAllah Khair for sharing this.
